"27 Years Young" is the first release by London-based, New Zealand guitarist and producer, Ashton Sellars.

Ashton has already made waves with his trademark guitar playing blending jazz, hip-hop and classical music, building a very strong following on social media with clips showcasing his virtuso guitar skills and undeniable talent for writing and production.

in November 2019, one of those clips got noticed by Alamo Records and ended up being the main bed for Rodwave's "Close Enough To Hurt", a song which has, to date, accumulated more than 7M streams and 8M views on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRlSTf6IQUI

A month later, Ashton reached another milestone of his young career as he was flown to LA by the global platform Pickup Music to deliver a full masterclass.

27 Years Young is based on a transitioning period of spaces and places, after Ashton spent 2 and a half years studying music in Amsterdam followed by a short return to Wellington before moving to London to expand his career and focus on his writing and production.
